Where is your farm located?

Farmnet Direct is located in the stunning Scenic Rim, just outside of Kalbar. Scenic Rim is known for its diverse and bountiful farming communities which we are so proud to be a part of!

What types of meat do you offer?

Currently, Farmnet Direct offers fresh holistically grown and ethically produced lamb. But keep an eye out, as we will soon have beef ready for delivery too!

Are your animals grass-fed?

Yes, all of our animals are Grass Fed on natural pastures, promoting their well-being and contributing to high-quality marbled meat.

Do you treat your animals humanely?

Absolutely. Our animals are a well-loved part of our lives here at Farmnet Direct. We emphasise humane and ethical treatment and promote natural behaviours.

What does "regenerative farming" mean?

Regenerative farming is an approach to agriculture that focuses on restoring and enhancing the health of the soil, biodiversity, and ecosystem by prioritizing practices such as minimal soil disturbance, cover cropping, crop rotation, and integrating livestock.

 

Do you use any synthetic inputs such as fertilizers or pesticides?

No, we do not use any synthetic inputs such as fertilizers or pesticides. Instead, we prioritise regenerative farming practices that promote soil health, biodiversity, and ecosystem resilience. By avoiding synthetic inputs, we protect the environment, minimize chemical residues in our products, and support sustainable agricultural systems for the long term.

How do you ensure the quality of your meat?

We ensure the quality of our meat through a combination of factors. Our animals are raised in a holistic environment, emphasising regenerative farming practices that prioritise their well-being and natural behaviors. Additionally, we partner with reputable butchers who adhere to strict quality standards during the processing stage. This comprehensive approach ensures that our customers receive meat of the highest quality, flavor, and ethical standards.

 

Can customers visit the farm?

Currently we are not set up to receive visitors, but this is something we are looking into in the future! We will certainly keep our customers informed via our socials or newsletters regarding this.

 

What are the delivery options and where do you deliver your products?

We currently only offer delivery of our products to customers in the South East Queensland region, spanning from Noosa in the north, to Scenic Rim in the south, Gold Coast in the East and the Lockyer Valley and Somerset region in the west.  If customers are outside of these regions, we still encourage them to contact us in advance of placing an order!

How are the orders delivered?

Orders are packed in boxes with insulation, and transported via refrigerated vehicle. We will deliver within 2-3 weeks and delivery dates depend on transport logistics for your area, but will be communicated to you prior. 

Do you offer shipping outside of your local area?

If customers are outside of the South East QLD area but are still interested in purchasing our products, we certainly encourage them to contact us directly and we will see what we can do!

Can I customise my order?

Certain aspects of your order can be customised, these will be emphasised within the product itself at time of order! For example, Lamb will come with a few options such as Sausages or Mince amongst others, and Beef will come with multiple preferences for certain cuts of meat. Be sure to read through and make your selections so that our butchers know exactly how to prepare your order!

Do you offer bulk discounts?

Our prices at Farmnet Direct are already extremely competitive and as such we cannot offer discounts for bulk purchases aside from the occasions where we list specials. Keep an eye out on our socials or sign up to our newsletter for updates!

What is the shelf life of your products?

At Farmnet Direct, we only sell the freshest meat - meaning your products will not have been frozen! Our meat is prepared and immediately cryovaced to maintain freshness. Typical shelf-life of cryovaced meat is: Beef – approx 4 weeks from date packed. Lamb – approx 14 days from date packed.

How do you handle refunds or returns?

Due to the perishable nature of our products, we are unable to accept returns. However, if you encounter any issues with your order or are not satisfied with your purchase for valid reasons, please reach out to us at farmnetdirect@gmail.com within two (2) days of receiving your delivery.
